Our story
We do shingles. That is it.
Shield Pro Roofing is based on Fallsburg Road in Newark, Ohio. We are family owned, GAF Certified, Owens Corning, licensed and insured, and rated B plus by the BBB.
We do not chase every trade. No metal roofs, no flat commercial work, no bidding on something we do not do every week. We install shingles, and we do it the way the manufacturer spec says to do it, because that is what keeps the warranty real.
Most of our work comes from neighbors pointing at yard signs. That is exactly how we would rather get work, because it means the job held up and the homeowner was willing to put their name on it.

How we work
A few things we believe.
Inspect first.
We get on the roof before we quote anything. A guess from the driveway is not good enough.
Document everything.
Photos, written reports, and adjuster meetings where we point at the damage in person.
No deductible games.
You pay your deductible. We do not eat it, waive it, or bury it. That is insurance fraud and your name is on the policy.
Clean up like we live there.
Magnetic nail sweep, landscaping protected, debris hauled. The yard should look like nobody was there.
Say no when it is right.
If your roof has years left, we tell you. If you want metal, we tell you we are not your contractor.
